The Concordia Design office building was designed by the distinguished MVRDV studio and was the winner of the prestigious competition organised by the ArchDaily architectural platform. The building is located at Wyspa Słodowa 7 in Wrocław. It was created by partially renovating and expanding a 19th century tenement building and adapting it to modern needs. One attractive feature is its roof terrace, which offers spectacular views of Wrocław's Old Town, the University of Wrocław, the city’s historic Market Hall and Daliowa Island.
The Concordia Design Hub contains 75 fully serviced private offices, comfortable coworking space with private desks, 400 sq m of chillout space, a reception desk, services, media and staff at tenants’ disposal.
The centre is open 24/7. Front desk staff are available, as well as high-speed internet, a cleaning service, a kitchen with tea, coffee and water, and a large chillout area. In addition, tenants can take advantage of a content support programme, a rich programme of community-building activities, and comfortable rooms (additional fees apply). Members of Concordia Design also have the advantage of a diverse range cultural and other events and catering. The space is air-conditioned. And a virtual address service is also available.
The coworking centre is situated in a highly attractive location in the very centre of Wrocław. Słodowa Island (the largest of the islands in downtown Wrocław) is a popular place for meetings, walks and concerts, not only for students but also for tourists. During the summer season, many open-air pubs open on the island. Ships and motorboats run from the marina. The island is connected by footbridges and bridges with smaller islands: Młyńska, Bielarska, Piaski and Daliowa. Access by car is restricted – only the employees of the Concordia Design building and guests of the Hotel Tumski can enter the island.
