What Coworkers Want

What does the current flexible office landscape look like? What are workers happy with? What do employees want to change? How important are recycling, free snacks and technology? What office type do workers prefer? These are all questions that we address in this report, which largely focuses on flexible office workers, but also makes comparisons with conventional office workers.

We surveyed nearly 2,000 coworkers in Europe to find out what they consider important in a workspace and what they’re happy with. We found that although it might be the ‘fun’ extras that sell a space, it’s the fundamentals that workers value. A stunning roof terrace is an appealing luxury, but ahead of that, workers value aspects like comfort of their work area, cleanliness and quality Wi-Fi.
