Over the course of 12 days the Workthere team ventured to different coworking spaces across London to spread the festive cheer and experience working in all of these great spaces first hand. Here, we share our experiences and highlight some of the brilliant amenities and facilities that these 12 spaces have on offer.
To kickstart the campaign Eve and Ellie headed to Whitechapel to spend time working at x+why. It’s a relatively new space to the market and has a strong emphasis on wellbeing, which is reflected in its amenities. The space is filled with plants and features an idyllic courtyard garden, which would make the perfect space to work and relax in the warmer months. The on-site wellness studio offers yoga classes for members and their changing room facilities are extremely well-equipped (even featuring a dyson hair dryer). There are plenty of meeting rooms and breakout spaces for members to take advantage of, and the on-site café offers the opportunity for a coffee or lunch meeting. They even have a wine dispenser that pours your wine at the optimum temperature, ideal for a team drink after work.

For the second day Freddie and Florence spent the morning in Blackfriars. Office Space in Town are famed for their themed workspaces, and this one is no different. With their happiness inspired workspace, stepping into this space is like going into another world with their under the sea and hot air balloon themed meeting rooms.
It’s in an ideal location just a short walk from Blackfriars, Farringdon and Mansion House tube stations. There is a range of amenities for members to take advantage of including a gym studio, a lounge and private roof terrace.

Day three saw Ellie and Jess heading to TOG’s space located just a few minutes’ walk from Victoria station. This space has lots to offer in terms of amenities, with one of its standout features being the on-site gym by The Manor. The entire basement has been converted into a concrete gym including a boxing ring and weights, with fitness instructors on hand for private sessions.
Member welfare is a focus at this space too, with a meditation room available for use. Other facilities include a large rooftop terrace offering views across Victoria and a library, which offers an excellent alternative to the coworking space. On the ground floor there is a bustling café with hot desks and comfortable seating areas.

On day four Sam and Florence visited The Boutique Workplace Company’s centrally located space in a beautiful period building in Soho. Its prime location makes the space easily accessible with links close by including Euston and Charing Cross.
It offers an array of meeting rooms and spacious breakout spaces in the kitchen perfect for members to connect and collaborate in. For those travelling to work on bike or foot bicycle storage and showers are provided.

Tucked away on a quiet street just off Regent Street, this space is a hidden gem. For day five Ellie and Florence spent time exploring the various facilities on offer at One Heddon Street. The open plan reception features a huge living wall and an abundance of plants are scattered throughout the space.
A games room is open for members to use when looking to take a much needed break from work, and offers a good opportunity for members to interact. Quiet booths and meeting rooms are also provided for members to take advantage of. One of the real highlights of the space is the rooftop terrace offering views over Mayfair.

The recently rebranded Argyll Club’s space in the heart of London’s West End was our next stop for day 6 in our campaign. This luxury space is on the sixth and tenth floors of the Nova North building and has plenty to offer in the way of facilities.
It features a spacious bar with plenty of relaxation areas and is complete with a large living wall. A range of well-equipped meeting rooms are available for use, and the space also offers shower and changing facilities. A highlight at Nova North is the impressive views it offers over the cities West End.

For Day 7 of our countdown Ellie and Lara spent the day at Fora’s space on Folgate Street. It’s ideally located close to Spitalfields and Brick Lane markets, providing excellent lunch options. One of its outstanding features is the large event space with tiered seating and a big screen perfect for holding an array of events.
The outdoor garden offers the ideal space for taking a break or for a change of scene. Well-equipped kitchens are provided on each floor with free snacks and hot drinks and the reception is a large and welcoming area.

Lara and Josh headed to WeWork in Waterloo for the eighth day of our countdown and took advantage of the various facilities on offer. It’s fantastically located on the riverside and is close to Waterloo mainline and underground station. The space boasts incredible views of many of London’s iconic landmarks including the London Eye and Big Ben.
Its kitchen areas are well-equipped and beer and prosecco taps are available for members to use from late afternoon onwards, offering a good opportunity for members to network and socialize. This workspace is also home to a large event area, meeting rooms and wellness room. It’s also dog friendly, perfect for pet owners, and during Lara and Josh’s trip they got to meet one of the dogs there.

On day nineEve and Sam visited The Ministry’s space, which is a short walk from Borough station. The space has temporarily taken on a chalet theme for the Christmas period, making the whole space feel extremely cosy and festive. This stylish space offers a wide array of facilities, Particularly well-equipped for businesses in the creative industry, with their onsite recording studio and large event space.
A large on-site gym with personal trainers is available for members to use and yoga classes are also offered. The onsite bar is an impressive feature, at 75ft long, it’s a perfect space for members to socialise. Its most unique offering is the cinema room, which hosts movie nights every Monday, and members can also hire it out to use for events.

On the tenth day, Jess and Mike spent time at Storey’s new workspace on Finsbury Avenue. Conveniently located close to Liverpool Street station, this space has plenty to offer. Housed within an iconic listed building, the space has been transformed into stylish workspace.
The reception area is spacious and airy, and the mezzanine levels on each floor overlooking a striking café, the Butterscotch bakery, where they sell all sorts of delicious sweet treats. This office is spacious and offers various breakout and seating areas for meeting or working. The building has a rooftop terrace which members can use and a Butterscotch Bakery on the ground floor selling all sorts of sweet treats.

On day eleven Freddie and Anna went to take a look at LABS House in Holborn. This beautifully designed workspace is well-located just down the street from Holborn tube station making the space easily accessible. It offers 9 floors of workspace, event space and meeting rooms. The lounge area is a standout feature offering plenty of sofas and seating areas for people to work or relax.
LABS also have their own app which members can use to book meeting rooms and order food as well as communicate with the wider community. Its rooftop terrace offers excellent views over the city and also features a marble coffee bar selling hot drinks and various snacks.

The final day saw Josh and Lara head to Work.life’s workspace that’s tucked away in the heart of Soho. The design of this space is unique and you’ll find lots of interesting artwork and neon signs and quotes adorning the walls throughout the space. The meeting rooms are bright and designed to inspire creativity and private phone booths are available, perfect for those important conversations.
Work.life focus on creating a community and offer regular social events, beer and pizza nights alongside lunch and learn sessions for members. Another standout feature is the eye catching kitchen with bar stools which members use as a place to eat lunch or to work when in need of a change of scene.
