One of the greatest challenges during this pandemic has been the disconnect many of us have felt from colleagues and the missed networking opportunities that come with attending industry events. One of the appeals of flexible workspace for businesses is the collaborative opportunities it provides to meet and network with other members, which throughout the pandemic has been increasingly difficult to do. Whilst businesses are beginning to return to the office in some capacity, the full return of in-person events may still not resume as normal for some time. To help businesses to stay connected, offer support, and provide guidance, flexible office providers have transitioned many of the usual in-person events online. In this blog, we round up some of the flexible offices offering virtual events.

Second Home

Second Home have four locations across London, each of which has been designed with a particular focus on sustainability and biodiversity. Second Home offers an extensive array of virtual events via Zoom, that will appeal to a variety of individuals. From film screenings to performances from poets, to breakthrough events featuring industry experts discussing specific topics. Second Home also offers wellness-focused events including mindfulness seminars, and guest speaker events including the likes of Stephen Fry. For those wishing to be more active, they are even offering virtual yoga and pilates sessions.

Second Home offer space in London Fields, Clerkenwell, Spitalfields and Holland Park. All of Second Home’s spaces feature an on-site café offering healthy food at an affordable price, with certain locations offering stand-out amenities including an on-site Nursery at their Hackney workspace.
