Hotel Elephant launched Elephant & Castles first coworking space for creative entrepreneurs on Spare Street in 2016. Spread across five railway arches, Spare Street provides a new model for creative working with emerging artists, recent graduates, start-up and growing creative businesses working alongside one another. With space for over 80 Creative Entrepreneurs, Spare Street is South London’s newest and most exciting entrepreneurial community.

The coworking arches 1 & 2, have been fitted with a bespoke interior designed to complement the curve of the arch and maximise on the natural light from the floor to ceiling windows at both ends of the spaces. Two sweeping curved walls provide a dynamic and flexible partitioning system for creating private spaces, with folding front panels which can change the rooms from private to open plan. The coworking arches offer different membership options to suit individuals and teams, from one day desk rental to longer term private office spaces for teams.
